Photo mosaic at the opening of the 75th season of the Žalgiris club

We finished last week with an extraordinary event – the opening of the 75th season of the Žalgirio klubas on Friday, as well as the first Euroleague home games of the year! On this occasion, the PrintaPrint team rushed to prepare an extraordinary mosaic for the Žalgirio Arena.

Photo mosaic is a real mosaic that was collected from printed photos. Each spectator of the match could contribute by pasting his or her photo into the overall picture – mosaic. The mosaic photos were printed selectively from the social network Instagram with #Zalgiris and #ManoKomanda hashtags. Mosaic has been collected from 228 pictures. In addition, each participant received a printed version of his or her photo as a gift.

During the event, anyone could contribute to the big picture while creating content about the event on social networks. Fun for the participants, benefit for the event awareness!

Thus, for the first time ever, the picture of all the Žalgiris team members was collected from photographs of supporters who were in the arena. It’s a very symbolic photo mosaic, meaning a lot to both team players and loyal supporters.
